Think summer camp, but with intentional workshops, meaningful experiences, and space to just be. Camp Sol: The Retreat creates a sanctuary for women to reconnect with their true selves and find inner peace away from the chaos of the outside world. You’ll meet new friends, pick up essential skills (like building a tent & fire + learning how to cook over an open flame), learn how to make natural fragrances and incense, participate in guided meditative conversations & group sound healing, receive a massage, hike to waterfalls and so much more!

Yes, we ask that everyone be at least 21 years of age

No, there is no cell phone reception on the retreat site, however Wi-Fi is available in the event of an emergency
*Keep in mind this camping retreat emphasizes being off-grid for the weekend.

Yes! There is a two stall composting outhouse.
There are no shower facilities on the property. Bathing in the river is highly encourages and quite a freeing experience.
*Campers must use biodegradable soap, such as Dr. Bronner’s or other eco-friendly options while bathing in the river. -
No, Campers must arrange their own transportation to the camp site. However, carpooling options may be available based on where you live.

Camp Sol: The Retreat takes place in Shawesville VA, on a secluded homestead surrounded by beautiful mountains and a river nestled within a valley.

Nope! Whether you’re a seasoned camper or have never slept in a tent before, you’re welcome here. We’ll guide you through everything, including setting up your tent, cooking over a fire, and getting comfy in nature.

A full packing list will be provided once your application has been confirmed , but expect to bring things like: personal hygiene items, comfortable outdoor clothing, cozy blankets & pillows for your bed, and an open heart. If you don’t have camping gear, don’t stress, we provide tents and air mattresses for every camper!

We do our best to accommodate dietary needs! Once your application has been confirmed, you will receive a medical form to let us know all the necessary details to keep you safe during your time outdoors.
We’ll make sure there’s something delicious for you, don’t worry!

Due to the nature of this retreat, all sales are final. If there is unfavorable weather for camping on the weekend of May 22-25, the retreat will be rescheduled.
Application & Payment

The full retreat price is $555. This price includes camp lodging, all (9) meals, a 30 minute massage, and all other activities for the 4 day weekend

If this retreat feels aligned, we encourage everyone to fill out our interest form. Once your application has been confirmed, you will be sent a payment link to pay for the reservation.

Camp Sol is a curated gathering. The application isn’t a test, it’s just a way for us to get to know you a little before we all share space together.
Because the group is small (only 8 campers), we’re intentional about the mix of energies each season.

All confirmation emails will be sent out no later than April 19th.
Once you have received your confirmation, you’ll have 24 hrs to secure your spot with payment.

Once your application has been confirmed as one of the 8 women to go on this sacred adventure, you will be sent a link for payment. Once your payment has been made, you’ll be added to an Instagram group chat where important information will be shared and you’ll get to meet the other campers + camp counselors.
Experience & Expectations

You’ll get to take part in a mix of grounding, reflective, and hands-on activities.
Our workshops include Mindful Hiking, where you’ll explore self-awareness and presence in nature. Group sound healing with the use of sound bowl frequencies. A 30min Massage from the homestead host who’s also a trained massage therapist (more info on that here).
You’ll learn essential outdoor skills like building a tent, starting a fire, and cooking over an open flame. Plus, we’ll have guided meditative conversations to deepen your connection with yourself and others. To get in touch with your inner creative, you’ll also get to make your own natural fragrance oil and incense to take home!

Light grab n go snacks for Monday’s departure.
*All meals outside of our Cooking With Fire workshop will be prepared by our Homestead Host, a liscensed nutritionist & chef.
*Saturday is our Cooking With Fire workshop where you’ll learn how to cook your own meal over the fire.
*A full menu will be provided in advanced and adjusted for dietary restrictions if needed.
